though the ending was not idealistic, when you think about it it’s actually pretty realistic if you actually understood the story. i personally didn’t like the ending but i understand why that was their conclusion so i wouldn’t rlly call it lazy writing:/ if you remember, the author already foreshadowed their ending together and it’s what both the main character envisioned since like you said, they had a HUGE past together and i’m also pretty sure that their impact towards each other’s lives was also huge that’s why it’s the most realistic outcome for them the author did a great job writing the ending imo
