Why are the barbarians alyways darkskinned bro (︶︿︶)=凸

Well, word "barbarians" was used originally by Greek people to name all non Greek people, so no matter the culture, and skin color if someone says "barbarians" they mean "savages from other cultures", and since the society that fl is made to look close minded and narcissistic, I think it's very fitting that they think the others are barbarians because they don't know their way of living. Also this comic is made by light skinned person, so you shouldn't expect that their perspectiveof life will be the same as yours, this comic also shows a very often using trope (very stereotypical one) of Arabic like people being exotic to European looking people (what isn't really historical accurate, but whatever), so don't be so hot-headed and seek rasicm everywhere, not everyone is living in the America... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I dont know why you think that racism is an only American thing but okay. You yourself pointed out that the universe the fl lives in are all close-minded people so how can they be not racist? You yourself admit they use a very typical arabic trope which is prejudice. Your argument wouldve made more sense if the fl wasnt as white as f*cking paper and if the "barbarians land" wouldve had people of different skin tone while still being seen as barbarians. "Barbarians land" also seems to be based of of Egypt which arent all darkskinned people so it makes no sense. The author isint the first person to portray barbarians this way so its not only this specific authors problem, so the fact you admit that the fl is close-minded and that is its a typical arabian trope proves that its racist....
And btw racism is also a European problem and based on what the fl usually wears its definitely not based on Greek culture so the definiton of barbarians wouldnt apply to a world setting that isint even in Greek(⊙…⊙ )
So all in all the idea that barbarians are only darkskinned people is racist.
(P.S) Racism is also a European thing so I dont get how living in America has anything to do with anything.

Well I pointed it out because I don't really disagree with you, just shedding light why they use the word, who was later adapted by many cultures. This is fiction it doesn't have to be accurate, because it doesn't to claim to be in our world. What I said about America is because that from where there is the most presumption that rasicm can be only towards black people. When it comes to Europe many countries for countries was in cultural exchange and trade with darker skin people (like Greeks,Italians, Egyptians, Arabic ect) so I didn't mean there wasn't racism rather not every one always looked at other color sikined people like they aren't people

no, you said that it was the very fitting that the kurkan are called barbarians because the Europeans don’t understand their culture. They’re just ignorant people stuck in ignorant mindset, and the way that the author has written it she is too. She as in the main character. I think it’s crazy that nine times out of 10 when it comes to “barbarians” they are mostly black or darker skin, darker pigment in the opposing side is super pale. And in America it isn’t all about Black people racism. It’s also about the other racism but there are more Black people in America than there are Asians in America, so why wouldn’t we focus on the Black people? Every other country he likes to get out here and act like they’re so perfect when y’all are just as racist as we are. As if living in America means you’re not racist. The whole comment was racist actually

No that's not what I meant, barbarian literally mean in ancient times "a person from an alien land" and it's because people who use this world (oryginaly Greek people) thorough that everyone who isn't Greek is savage it's just a historical fact. It's awful mindset and I don't I support it, I just wanted to explain why they used world "barbarians" because it's important for story telling purposes. And maybe it's hurt to understand but rasicm for many cultures and for many centuries wasn't an cultural thing, for Greek and Romans it was literally cultural thing but for example for Poland, and even if there where racism people there it wasn't a society approval mind set, (mind that I'm talking about historical events not modern times). And America was literally founded on rasicm, I don't think there is a country like that in Europe or Asia, so that's why none really have there mindset "you can only by rasicm to dark skinned person" I agree with you on your letter point that you can be rasicm to anyone (that was kinda my point that I was trying to communicate even if you don't feel like it). And I made all those comments because I think people care too much about fictional rasicm (that is show in that story to be bad) and should care more about treating other people right in real life (because yeah I understand importance of fictional story's influencing readers mindset, but if you waste all your energy on something that you can't change, you won't have energy to influence the situation that you could chanege)

The UK Europe is literally built on racism so.. And they know the continent that the ‘barbarians’ are on so that’s not what they mean in the story. Actually in the story they explain why and it’s literally racism so.. And nobody is under the perception that you can only be racist to dark people except most likely you. no one has said that the only reason dark skin people are brought up in this situation because that’s literally who they’re talking about in the story. And personally, I do think that racism tends to stem from lighter people for darker people. And I don’t mean just black and white I mean from Mexican to Asian. Everybody wants to be light. If you can’t care about fiction racism, then you don’t care about the actual racism. We’re just commenting on it because it’s shoved in our face. A conversation about something that we may can’t change. It’s not up to you to make us feel invalid because we know that they’re being racist. I think the people who are commenting on it are the people who fight against it . It’s people like who who try to invalidate that aren’t fighting against it in real life. You probably don’t mind racism in all actuality. No one is wasting energy by giving an opinion, your wasting time by trying to tell people they invalid.

Hold your horses UK is just one country in Europe and I specific called out Poland to make a point, besides you still don't listen word "barbarian" isn't used just because they don't know whta continent they are from, they could live in the same country but be from different tribe, because it's literally mean "stranger" just 100% more rude and aggressive, don't put words in my mouth because I literally said otherwise elier in the comment, and the statement "everybody want to be white" is for me personally racist and simply untrue since most of darker skinned pepol love and feel good with color of their skin, also many white people would like to have tanned completion, because rasicm at it's core is just an excuse to not treat some people like people and to justify aggression and violence that you point towards them, so you are wrong with this statement.
Well I think you should learn more about meaning of some words before you used them, learn more about some cultural phenomena and why they occur. Because this story isn't really racist, you can google "rasicm presented comics" and Americans really tried hard to make so much of the examples (in this case of black people). Talking to you I think you don't want discussion about topic, you just want to argue without even trying to understand what I meant and what I tried to say (tried because you know english isn't my first language)

Everybody wants to be “light” is what i really said. And it’s very much true for most races i could name a few but i’m positive you know what races i’m talking about. I didn’t know english wasn’t you first language but you seem to know what you’re talking about so it’s not an excuse. I know what the word means and i know exactly how they are using it, im just bringing attention to the fact that it’s mostly darker people they use to in your terms ‘bring attention’ to this issue. Honestly the story is racist even of just a little but if you don’t see that, that’s on you, wake up open your eyes. And im not arguing im stating my opinion and not letting you trample over it.

Saying that "everybody wants something" is aleredy superstition, there only people that I can think of that "wants to be white" are Japanese and Chinese who are already white, but that's because it theirs cultural beauty standards "being as fair as a piece of paper", and many chinese actually call that out, that it's comes to the point of being unreasonable. But other then that, I can't think about it, you can tell me, because I don't know who are you talking about. I brought the language gap because trying to communicate something in different languages may create misunderstanding about what the intentions of the speaker are, for example for a long time I didn't understand why people are getting mad when I said something is "stupid" or "idiotic" until someone explained to me that I should call it "silly".
I will said it again I don't think that this particular comic until this point is racist, it have rasist threads in the story, but that doesn't makes a comic racist, that two different things. The "dark color" people in the story aren't depicted as intellectual worse than the "white" people, they dont have visually different looks (besides they animalistic parts, that are explained as special traids, but it doesn't make them look stupid, or in any way worse for the readers, if anyway they have in word advances because of that), they are beautiful but so all the other positive/main characters like female lead or her brother. The rasicm they received comes from in story characters not from the author of the story. The intentions of the author isn't to be racist toward specific looking people. So really ypu are getting mad over nothing. And I just can't understand why you don't see it

Kill Rose like im not joking. What the f is she doing??????

So if she wants her father dead then why stap leo if the whole point is to kill him. Most vampires are already againts her father so what is the point of proving loyalty to someone that now has 0 supporters? It wouldve made sense if the plan backfired but it didint so stapping leo basically is just dragging the story.
Why she eating lunch in the bathroom at school??
