there are numerous studies that show that the media we consume has an effect on the way we think and perceive the world, even if its just subconsciously, there is influence.
especially when it comes to porn, like literally you can go look it up, there is a shit ton of information available. (and if you are in collage, you can easily access academic studies)
and smut can corrupt the brain- porn addiction is a real thing
