Rereading this, i didnt realize there were two extra chapters. I couldnt get this story out of my head probably cause its the first story I read where the rape wasnt portrayed as sexy and was actually revolting. The ending wasnt it for me, cause why is tht brother coming out of this tragedy unscathed meanwhile everyone is suffering - mc is now a broken person with stockholm syndrome, father forever mourning over the loss of his wife and child, senpai suffers from guilt of not being able to save his loved one, and his mom is dead.
Also I really love how the last scene before mom’s death- MC had no one else to rely on and remembered the conversation where mom told him to rely on her, he then proceed to call her for help. WHEN ALL THIS WHILE MOM KNEW EXACTLY THT HER SON RAPES HIM. Like, goddamn, this plot is so well written- everyone around mc is a scum
Big agree! Tbh i think she should have called the police when he called her. I think the reason she didn't is bc she knew what her son had did to him and still wanted to protect him until the end... as stupid as that is.
I don’t think the mother knew. He actually didn’t tell her. All she knew was that her son was gay. I genuinely believed she wanted to help him (not her biological son) just before she died.
