does it get better? i'm on ch 13 & it's so flat. at the point none of the leads are likable
In my opinion, it does get better, especially since the end is sped up since the story got discontinued. There's also a second couple towards the end that I really liked. It's not world literature, but it is better than most stories of the same genre.
is there any point in the story where she isn't running around & getting herself in trouble. she really could have used her "modern" views and changed things up, but all I keep seeing is her getting herself into trouble before thinking. nvm imma just drop it
Nope, most of these author's works characters have very little character growth. For some reason all the MLs are a$$holes and the FLs are supposed to be "strong, smart, fierce and cunning", but just come off as dumb/weak, yet at the end of the day they get a "happy ending".
I would stay away from anything this author writes, since forbthe most part it is just the same plot line with different characters and settings.

I dropped it & I’m staying away from this author’s work as well. I don’t like to stress while I read lol
the first half and second half don't match at all. I saw in the recent extra that some things were reworked, so I wonder if this uploaded version is the result of the mixture of the two. At least I hope it was. Idk how a clearly defined rape and Hosik's clear dislike for Sungyeon and his behavior turned into "i was attracted to him, but we're both guys. You like me, I think I like you too okay I guess sex is okay." Literally the only saving grace is the adorable relationship between Hoyeon and Hosik. I will give it to Sungyeon that he's a good/attentive dad though.
ain't it something when the sequels/spin-offs go longer than the original/prequels? same thing happened with Hitorijime Boyfriend/Hitorijime My Hero & Sabita Yoru Demo Koi Wa Sasayaku/Renai Rubi no Tadashii Furikata

what if she just wants to feel herself age since she literally died then got sold as a slave and went through hell. Maybe she just wanted to live a little before making that huge decision. Who knows, she might change her mind later.
it's easy to see that the anime won't cover everything. But I'll pretend this manga doesn't even exist if they try to spring some romance into this
