This had a very fresh feel and idk why since it basically checked off the same traits as other bl’s.

-lone wolf trope
-delinquent who falls for the pure type
But it felt different and unique?? ANYWAYS I loved the book but it did have some inconsistencies:
-wasn’t the school an all boys school?? In the last chap I noticed during the final exam scene there were girls taking the test too.
-I understand why the author gave the Senpai that sexual-assault storyline, his lone-wolf-trait needed a reason as to why he didn’t associate with his peers. The thing I don’t understand is why the author didn’t fully commit to the storyline they gave the senpai. From what I’ve seen from sexually assaulted victims is that they have a hard time trusting people. And although Sumire is a very pure type, I imagine it would be difficult for the senpai to essentially relive the sexual assault by having Sumire top. Although I admit I did love it bc I love bottom-type-personalities in reality being tops but it didn’t make sense considering the senpais traumatic background. But it’s issss what it isss.

TANGENT: Also you can tell the author is a millennial since gen z don’t really consider Madonna The Queen of our generation—although I can’t speak for everyone. Beyoncé I feel fits the bill imo.

Actually, chapter 24 is the LAST chapter of S1, so the sex scene are meant to end there. Originally I think we were supposed to get a Q&A next, but I guess they decided to throw in the prologue chapters before that. After these next few prologue chapters and the Q&A (if that's still being uploaded on t@p@s), we probably won't get any more chapters for a while unless the author has S2 material ready, but the author hasn't made a comment if S2 is done or ready yet.

The authors always know how to ruin their own stories the pace was good but the actual plot is boring and the characters are so one dimensional. I won’t lie Adrian’s weird powers are beginning to get interesting but I wish the author had started with that. Also whyyyy WHY WHY WHY WHY are bl authors so obsessed with rape tropes and the whole walter and Kyle apology kiss was so ICKY ICKY CRIIIINGE whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy why? Why are we forgiving a rapist??? But you know what, I no longer have to ask myself that question bc I’m dropping this—THANK GOODNESS (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
