I feel so sorry for Denji... he literally has no one now. He had just witnessed the murders of his only family in such a short span of time and then manipulated to feel guilt by the one he loved and trusted.
He had been strung around like an easy plaything the entire time while Makima openly laughs at the success of her plans. It’s unnerving bc we usually see Makima as calm and remotely expressionless- sometimes with a quiet smile- but right after the death of Denji’s last family, we finally experience her showing genuine emotions. she blurts out the truth and her underlying motives as if she had been desperately keeping it in.
Denji is still a child at heart and I feel sorry for the child that innocently wanted only one thing: a normal life
despite the dark looming atmosphere and vibes, i find them so cute.. especially when it shows when they were kids and like dAMN the puberty truck rlly did a good one on glasses
