I didn't seem like it was planed tho. I guess for me it was more like soohyuk was just really disgusted with what the king wanted to do to him and wolfgang, who is the only person he trusted in the palace, was conviniently there. It looked like he was overcome with emotion and just unconsously ran to him then they were swept up with the flow of things.
