1. Amy is portrayed as the rank one student however time and time again, she is being saved by Shirone. Supposedly her family magic makes her a genius but we have yet to see that at all. I wish they would stop hyping up girls and making them damsels to show off the mc's power. Amy could be so much more.
2. Amy proclaiming herself Shirone's girlfriend. Idiotic and caused him to be isolated by the students. Of all the excuses that could be used, Amy just had to blurt out that they are lovers And all she does is cry next to Shirone in both the comic and the novel while he is stuck with the blue haired mage. Meanwhile Eruki is out there busting his azz to save Shirone.
3. Shirone needs to grow a back bone. Where has all his courage and guts gone. The courage he displayed against the Nobles who are sponsoring....Shirone literally becomes an idiot whenever Amy is involved. He can't even get a word in against her.
4. The whole Amy blackmailing Shirone was idiotic and didn't move the plot anywhere. We wasted time on that idiotic filler.

It would've been really really nice if Amy showed maturity when she was reintroduced and apologized to Shirone instead of blackmailing him. And it would have been even better if instead of Shirone having to save her from the group of guys and using that excuse, they revamped it to make Amy at least worthy of her Genius Rank 1 title by not needing to be saved and using the idiotic Lovers excuse. To further the romance/develope their bond even more, Amy actively playing a role in saving Shirone in the current arc along with Eruki would've solidify her as best girl. But nope, they make her cry by his bed while Eruki does all the work.
My very first manhwa i read. I keep wanting for more and now i've already read hundreds of 'em. Until now i still love this one.
