He was the 2nd male lead (kinda) - it was subtle and it was obvious that it would never happen. It’s not one of those stories where there is even the slightest chance that he and Perry would have that kind of relationship.
No ik that like it’s so obvious perry and duke went through sm together for him to even be given a chance lol but I meant like differences form novel to this. I read manhwa focuses on perry and her growth unlike the novel but idk what the novel focuses on cus I read this comment in a novel only website where I was gonna read but never did lollll. sorry but i'm only going by what i've heard i haven't read the novel myself but i do know that even korean readers enjoy the manhwa a lot more. from what i've heard the novel reads like your typical generic isekai/regression story, it feels very rushed in terms of character development, but again that's what i've heard so who knows? ╮(￣▽￣)╭

oh his downfall is SOOO good, luciano basically starts a rebellion/coup once he finds out what happened to get oscar off the throne to replace him with one of the emperor's illegitimate children anyway long story short luciano kidnaps oscar and tortures him for days on end, cutting his limbs off and having doctors to heal him only to do it all over again to the point where oscar kills himself bc he can't handle it
