I'm on chapter 16 right now. And damn those first few chapters were really hard to read. Like imagine a kid having to realize that no one is on her side... Like saying "I just want her live like a dead mouse" when she's like 8??? And to me it feels like it's cuz she tried to act more maturely in front of him that he started liking her. And nope just cuz he saw her crying so he is suddenly softer on her?? No amount of trauma or grief from losing ur wife makes it okay to treat someone and that too a kid like that. Like the amount of trust issues this kid must have is insane. I have no idea where their relationship will go from there... But it's gonna take a long time for me to ever think he's redeemed. I guess the way I would explain this is... His love feels so circumstantial. Like if she didn't work hard to act more maturely in front of him... Nothing would have changed.

This was great. Reminded me of the one Within the villainess... Both stories are so well rounded, with great mcs and Thank the lord they weren't dragged on for like 100s of chapters. Look as much as I shit on this story... I honestly wish the best for this ml. Not in his love life but in general, like to get a better job and stuff lol cuz... wtf Bro just break up with hyemi and hook up with people even that would better than leading her on, if you just want an outlet to see the fl. But hyemi's response to his situation.... and like his embarrassment or... idk what it was when fl saw ml that was a big oof for me. I still wouldn't say this is a bad story. It's heavy not with the romantic subplot, but everything else. But also this has gone on for too long lmao. Bruh if I can't even remember the fl and ml's names then... yeah it's time to move on to something else.

K if anyone knows, can someone tell me if this chapter (chapter 35) is the last chapter of this story?? And if not then like... approximately how long it will take? Cuz god it is dragging out for so long. I was gonna wait till this story is over so I could like, do a ranking of all the stories we've got till now. BUT IT STILL ISN'T OVER. And yes, it's fine to see flawed characters being absolute pieces of shit. But not for this long man... It's not sexy or attractive. Like... idk I'm not into shitty people lol. It's kinda fun to see these people ruin their sanity over the stupidest shit ever but god they're not even interesting anymore and the plot is kinda going no where now. I don't even really care how this ends anymore (except for hyemi cuz poor girl getting dragged into this) JUST MAKE IT END.

OMG I know that shuri is still gonna win the trial but god the tension is still insane I JUST WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY I CAN'T TAKE THIS....... I am so impatient to see the resolution of this trial and see the church and all the nobles who stopped supporting shuri get their ass kicked by nora and jeremy. PLEASEEEE.... Also Ohara really grew on me. I mean yes she was a bit of an asshole in the first timeline, and people say that she is different in this timeline. I honestly don't think she is. That doesn't mean she's a bad person. Like... how do I explain this?? In both timelines she had the same concerns about jeremy and shuri, it's just that in this timeline she chose to be a little more subtle with it here. Her concerns are valid for her POV seeing how her view of shuri and jeremy's bond is warped by her father being a piece of shit. Like someone else said if your own daughter is calling you out and saying that she wants to marry someone who is not like you... U should just know that you have failed in life lmao.
