So many times in bl the author what’s us to not like the second lead but almost every time I’m more interested in them than the seme
I agree mc is similar to mc of semantic error. This seems really interesting, even tho uke is being a creepo it’s kinda funny seeing seme not know how to handle that .
Chasing arc would have been better if it didn’t go down the “you almost got hurt so I immediately forgive you” route…like he said seme didn’t fight for them when they broke up so he should have to fight for them now. It was going good with him standing up for the uke at the club and even traveling far to see him, but then he just gets cold and bats his eyes and all is forgiven? Why are authors so against making semes WORK for it
In any other story Yejun would be the uke but it’s nice seeing a seme with his characteristics
Ngl I really hate the “he gets hurt so I forgive him immediately” trope because usually it means the one who was in the wrong doesn’t ~actually~ so anything to deserve the forgiveness. I hope this one changes it up a bit, bc if anything this chapter showed that ML still needs to allow himself to feel and work through the emotions this situation has caused

In a perfect world the seme would apologize and buy the new laptop and stop being an asshole…but most of all acknowledge he was being too pushy with the uke about having sex!! If there was actually a scene like that I would die and go to heaven….but tbh I’m not even sure some of these authors see anything wrong with “playfully pushy” semes…
