It was very cruel of the younger nanny to allow the child to call her mom, though seme is also to blame for being so absent.

The seme didn’t know where his kid was for like three years iirc? By the time the uke’s “mother” (in quotes because to me she is no mother) finally revealed where she was keeping him, the child was already calling the nanny mom, which the seme corrected right away. But the nanny started immediately trying to act like a wife to the seme as well so he chose to relocate and he couldn’t bring his kid with him since that would mean having the nanny over again and he couldn’t just get rid of the nanny right away because of how attached the kid had become to her. So in reality, the only ones to blame are, firstly, the uke’s “mother” and the nanny for not staying professional and implementing boundaries. She had the obligation to inform the child who his parents were really, even if she had to make up reasons for why they weren’t present with him yet.

Idk if it’s because we as readers know more than the MC or what but I swear he’s been told about the stalker and grifters before. Feels like that’s been rehashed like three times at this point…

He knew about the stalker and grifters, he didn't know about the timeline or who the stalker harassed. He knew info was leaked from pictures but didn't know who in the group was stalked because of the pictures. He also didn't know how long it's been. Basically, information has been slow released to him, but we can piece things together because of the perspective we see as readers. Hope this helped.

It’s 2024 and authors are still using the crazy evil women trying to ruin the gays troupe. How about making our main characters take some accountability for their own actions?
The ML agreed to this engagement himself, didn’t call it off after seeing how much it upset his boyfriend, BROKE UP WITH THE MC HIMSELF, and treated his fiancé and secretary like shit as if it wasn’t his own actions that got him in this situation. All of that just for the MC to give him chance after chance and forgive him before he even called off the marriage!
Y’all are saying it’s the woman who has no self love, but the MC is the one with no self respect.

I get what you're saying, bc you're probably tired of seeing women used as BL plot devices, but I don't think gender should be made the issue here bc it makes sense in the story's context...he and she are both modern-setting chaebol nouveux richies trying to form a business marriage. It's not like he would've been forced to marry some upper class male, since it's not a fantasyverse. They could've made her non-dramatic but it's not that kind of story from the onset. The whole thing is a telenuvo soap opera.
But other than that, I agree the ML needs to own up to his actions.
So cute!! I don’t usually read stories with kids but this one is just so good in every way. It kind of gives me stardew vibes :D the personalities of both leads are great and their relationship development feels so natural. Can’t wait for more!!
