Some people are so used to being friends with someone for so long they try to hold on and not lose the ship. It's an empty feeling when you're used to receiving love and affection one they vacate. I nvr said Noeul didn't have the right to move on. He hung on for so long YeoReum got used to his affection. They both were in it for the long run. Noeul also made the decision to "end the relationship" by sleeping w/ his best friend. He didn't say, let's sleep with each other and see how it goes, whether this will move our ship fwd, or as a "lasting" gift, or "a resolution of my feelings" for you. But instead, he roped a guy into sleeping with him just for his own sake of moving along.
Without telling him (his intentions) leaving the poor guy confused and moping all in his own. It would have been a diff situation if they had had a proper convo before and or after the fact. It's not like they're both doing sober with an acknowledgement. I thought they did it while drunk but apparently only Noeul went into it with obvious intentions. So it wasn't "an honest mistake" on his part. YeoReum, on the other hand thought he had accidentally slept with him. Noeul used YeoReum to "move on". A highly selfish motive. Ideally the convo should have taken place and even more so ideally BEFORE the act WHILE sober. Tacit agreement to indulge someone. Ofc, even with intention, it is unknown the outcome unt after the fact. If it DID happen with prior tacit agreement then YeoReum would have a chance to explore his feelings, and whether he (himself) had liked the sex or not with a man or with NoEul.
