Oh there are definitely shipping fics on ao3!! but really, there are lots and LOTS of spoilers lmaoo— tbh I'd recommend against reading them, because some spoilers are pretty significant to major plots to the story but HEY! If you want to read the ship fics, go ahead! There are some REALLY good ones out there, (although surprisingly choicale isn't the most popular ship amongst the fic writers there—but at the same time... understandably so hehe )
I don't know man, now that I've crossed over 550 chapters on the lightnovel I kind of see the appeal of choicale too lol. But yeah the other one is supper strong as well (≧∀≦)
I'm up to date on the novel and there are so many good ships to go around, but choicale definitely has to be my biggest — but compared to caleberu (who has maybe... 30 fics?), choicale only has like... five on ao3 as of now and my poor shipper heart is crying TvT (but definitely, the other ship is also really good, what a power couple theyd make haha)
