They get together in a few chapters, lovey dovey, Hyesung (the one Hyundal fell for) doesnt like their relationship though. Alpha client who likes Geonah meets up with him at a bar then they talk and Geonah tells him he doesn’t want his ass. When they both leave, Hyundai (who bought Geonah a bouquet) sees them both and asks him about it. They get into an argument but in like a few minutes Hyundal realizes he made a mistake and goes back to Geonah and hands him the flowers and they kiss and make up
30-40
They just fuck and there’s toys and whatever blah blah blah..
Client alpha still wants Geonah. He’s also in Geonah’s friend group (I have no clue why or how? I think he’s friends with one of Geonah’s friends so they often hang out together with his friends). He calls him but Geonah is like “bruh tf” and doesn’t answer
Then they have a party on their official relationship (I think, at least, my Korean isn’t that good) for Hyundal to meet Geonah’s friends as his boyfriend. Hyesung (who still doesn’t like the relationship) and Hyundal talk alone about it. And here we meet Geonah’s hyung (related or not I’m not sure) who disapproves of their relationship cos he’s like “um alpha x alpha?”
Then Geonah’s Hyung hires a male omega prostitute and tells him where Geonah lives. The prostitute pushes him down and tries to have sex with him and kisses him. Then Geonah gets a phone call from Hyundal and starts freaking out and crying then he kicks out the omega and tries to air out the scent of omega pheromones and takes a shower to try and wash off the scent
Then Hyundal comes back and brings food but Geonah is acting weird so he questions it. Geonah beats around the bush and doesn’t say anything so Hyundal gets frustrated (still very calm though) and leaves
Hyundal pretty much figures that Geonah was cheating on him because of how everything looked and how he acted
They go to a seminar they were both planning to go to (separately) and meet Hyesung there. Then they have lunch with Hyesung but Geonah and Hyundal aren’t on speaking terms rn
Geonah asks the waitress where the bathroom is but he’s emanating pheromones and both Hyundal and Hyesung and the waitress notice it
Later Hyesung and Geonah are talking before they leave and Hyundal gets jealous, seeing that an alpha and omega are probably what Geonah wants. Then he cries and they make up then fuck again, they’ve fucked like 3x in the past 10 chaps.. I think Geonah reveals he was wearing a vibrator the entire day or something
Oh yeah Geonah also confronted his Hyung about the prostitute
40-52 (this is gonna be the longest)
Client alpha still wants Geonah… he and Geonah’s friends are friends so they’re often hanging out together… I have no idea why they’re even friends. But he knows Geonah and Hyundal have something going on and he’s like “damn Imma take that” or whatever.. I hope he dies honestly so pushy..
Geonah’s friend visits him at his cafe (he has his own cafe now I think) and smells pheromones on him and asks him if he was marked/marked someone. He was releasing marking pheromones because Hyundal bit his nape during sex (no idea why this would occur for an alpha… there’s no evidence of Geonah becoming an omega)
Later client alpha is with one of their friends and he’s having a sexual fantasy about him and Geonah, before he snaps out of it and asks why Geonah became a playboy. Basically he caught his girlfriend cheating on him, they broke up, then he gave up on love until he met Hyundal
Client alpha calls Geonah (who’s busy making out with Hyundal) and Hyundal answers the phone like “What.” Client alpha asks about Geonah’s cafe and says stuff that Hyundal doesn’t know about.
They get into another argument, I think over Geonah opening a cafe with his brother’s help and not letting Hyundal know but letting everyone else know?im not sure
They’re not on speaking terms (again..) geonah thinks he sees him at his cafe but it was a hallucination. Client alpha visits Geonah as he’s closing and Geonah is mad at him and annoyed because obviously?? Client alpha catches a whiff of Geonah’s pheromones and is like “his rut is coming.. tomorrow?” And says some shit like “heh. Just call me if you need me..”
Geonah’s rut comes the next day and he “fantasizes” about touching someone (it’s a black figure but he calls out Hyundal’s name). But he smells a scent and is like “this isn’t Hyundal’s scent.. it’s.. omega pheromones??” And wakes up shocked
He thinks he slept with an omega during his rut but he can’t remember at all
His Hyung comes to see him at the cafe, then Client alpha comes along a few moments later and asks Geonah why he blocked him. Geonah told him he doesn’t wanna get along with him anymore. Client alpha then asks Geonah about his rut and what happened during it, blah blah blah, I think talking about “oh who did you turn to during your rut?” Because he knows that Hyundal and Geonah aren’t together rn?? I have no clue MY KOREAN ISNT THAT GOOD Geonah thinks about punching him because he’s getting pissed off but his Hyung lands a punch on client alpha instead. Go Hyung!
Geonah tries to stop his Hyung but he doesn’t want to. Then Hyundal shows up and protects Geonah like “what’s going on here…”
Later Hyundal apologizes to Geon’s Hyung and then they go out for dinner
At the dinner, Hyundal expresses how he loves Geonah and tries to prove himself to his Hyung. Then a bystander comes by to ask out Hyundal but he’s like “um this my bf” and the girl is like “but you’re both alpha’s? That’s a waste” and that makes Geonah mad. Then as he’s talking with his Hyung while smoking his Hyung is like “boy what are you doing… you never looked at him once while he’s all I like you I like you” blah blah blah and he talks about how Geonah is always like this with his feelings or something
Later Geonah gets frustrated and goes “how much longer are we going to date like this” or something because they’re both alphas. Then Geonah goes “should we just end it here then” and Hyundal is like wtf. Geonah tells Hyundal that during his last rut he smelled omega pheromones and thinks he slept with an omega. Hyundal stops Geonah and tells him that it was him he slept with, he just used an omega perfume so that Geonah wouldn’t feel uncomfortable smelling another alpha’s pheromones during his rut. Then geonah goes “you used to like omegas too… you’ll find someone you’re suited for… two alphas isn’t right” to Hyundal. Hyundal tells Geonah that he loves him and asks him if that’s still not enough. Geonah then breaks up with Hyundal and leaves crying.
The next day he’s with his friends dead drunk because he’s sad over the fact that he broke up with Hyundal… like it’s entirely ur fault dawg
He gets dead drunk and his friends call Hyundal to pick him up. Client alpha then walks in and Hyundal realizes he’s there and can’t let him take advantage of Geonah so he comes to pick him up. Geonah doesn’t wanna go with him, Client alpha stops Hyundal and goes “he doesn’t wanna go with you” like umm he don’t want you bro?
Then he says some shit and Hyundal punches him in the face (hell yeah) then Client alpha goes on about some shit. Hyundal goes “YOU SON OF A BITCH!!” And they have to hold him back
On the car ride home Hyundal and Geonah talk. Hyundal talks about his past relationships and his feelings and everything. Then he asks Geonah to live with him for one month without the burden of being a lover but still acting like one.
They then decide to live together for a month. They sleep in separate rooms. Hyundal makes a contract/list of things they can’t do. 1. They still like each other so they should live together 2. Act like a lover without the burden of it (I think) 3. No sex. Because having sex won’t help their relationship now. They still make out a bunch though?? But Geonah asks “can I still meet other people during that time?” He actually asks this because he thinks that Hyundal might get bored of him and want to sleep with other people. Hyundal gets mad and goes “if you can’t even endure one month then whatever”
next day or something they’re making out in the elevator when a girl in her underwear sees them and goes “hello?” (She doesn’t see them making out)
She’s Geonah’s family friend, and a dominant omega. She doesn’t have anywhere to stay while she stays in Korea so Geonah’s dad convinced her dad to have her stay at Geonah’s house. She shows interest in Hyundal cuz he’s hot but Geonah stops her. He doesn’t want her to stay but Hyundal decides to let her stay. (She’s conveniently staying for the duration of the month/their contract)
Hyundal makes tteokbokki for dinner, he does star shaped noodles for Eunbyeol (I think that’s her name?) and heart shaped for Geonah. She wants Hyundal’s number, Geonah grabs her phone and says no out of jealousy.
They’re making out later (again bruh..) when she comes home and they hide in the room. Later we see her interpreting their actions as them fighting over her. She then fantasizes about a threesome between them (silly girl)
Later they go to a club. She touches Geonah’s ass and Hyundal doesn’t like that. Later she tries to get Geonah to drink but Hyundal takes it and drinks it instead. She misinterprets it as him being jealous over her again. Later she asks someone to take her to the restroom because she’s drunk off her ass. Hyundal takes her because he thinks she’ll try to jump Geonah. Instead she jumps Hyundal and kisses him against his will, being like “I know you like me~” while Hyundal is like “WTF..”
Geonah catches the kiss and runs away. Hyundal goes after him and tries to explain. Geonah lies that he’s just going for a smoke but Hyundal is like bruh you lying. Geonah lowkey a hypocrite because he got kissed by that prostitute against his will, and the same thing just happened to Hyundai but he won’t let him explain.. Hyundal tells him it was forced but Geonah says “I don’t care it doesn’t matter to me if you guys like each other”
Hyundal then goes “You don’t care if a woman is attracted to me? During this one month I want you to live with me to focus on our relationship. What are you even doing this for then??” And they fight. (Hyundal is def in the right btw) Hyundal takes Eunbyeol home and she’s like “damn did they fight”
At night, Geonah sneaks in Hyundal’s room and apologizes. He tells him he thinks Eunbyeol wants to sleep with them. Hyundal says “no I think she wants to sleep with you” but Geonah says that she actually wants a 3some. Geonah tells Hyundal that he’s jealous and he doesn’t want Hyundal to be with anyone that isn’t him. They basically re-confirm their relationship and get back together officially. And they fuck. First time in a month! Wow good job guys
The next day Eunbyeol tries to figure out what’s going on and makes a lot of assumptions as to why they were acting like that towards her (jealous) and Hyundal kisses Geonah to explain that they’re together and neither of them are interested in her. She basically gets the idea and stops trying to get with either of them lol
But later on she changes her target to Geonah’s Hyung, who comes to pick her up
Later, Hyesung goes to visit Geonah at his cafe. He sees Hyundal sitting at a table working (Hyundal often comes to Geonah’s cafe to just chill while he waits for Geonah). When he sees Geonah and Hyundal talking, he sees how brightly Hyundal smiles and I think that’s when he’s finally okay with their relationship. :) I think he was more worried about Hyundal getting hurt in the relationship due to his and Geonah’s mistakes
Then at the ending, Geonah buys Hyundal a bouquet and tells Hyundal (handing it to him), “You’re my type, can I buy you a coffee?” Which I think is a sweet ode to the title! Since they’re both type alpha’s and constantly talk about how they’re not each other’s type.
Geonah still pissed me off though, Hyundal was the perfect man

It seems Geon kept pursuing Hyeondal because it felt nice being with him but didn't really intend to get into a relationship. Or at least he was fine if they don't end up together as long as they stay close, aka settling, which is all rooted from his past relationship. Eventually Hyeondal did fall for him and Geon was in the process of gaining confidence, deterrents, ie. his hyung, client, omegas, and the alpha x alpha pairing, came and stmoped on Geon's esteem. So after Geon sort of chased Hyeondal, the reverse eventually happened. Positive character development is on Geon who finally cried and got angry - which he heavily avoided. It's a decent story.

I definitely do not think Hyundal was perfect, as he definitely had his moments. Like the others said, before they started their relationship- his multiple rejections obviously played a part in geonah’s lack of confidence. Even as he went to confess to geonah, just seeing him with the client made him mad and say harsh words towards him, leaving him behind (only realizing his mistake after he went back).
Geonah can be annoying but taking into consideration being cheated on, hurt, lack of confidence, and moments where he faced people who forced themselves on him (the prostitute scene where he got SA and didn’t even have enough time to think what just happened before being scared). He’s not evil in any way, he just has his flaws and things he struggles with.
