I reread everything from the first chap and remembered that he was a ceramics major before all this happened. I wonder if everything turns out well if he’ll try to pursue art again. It’s crazy to me how this situation ended up in his entire personality changing due to the trauma of it all. I mean, he even sliced his own head off because of it. Poor guy just wanted to make bowls…
I forgot the beginning of the story since the updates are long so I decided to note down some things in case anyone else forgot as well
- yeonil is 27 baek dam is 34
- baek dam would constantly bully, verbally abuse, and use his authority over Yeonil and started the (true) rumors of him being an alcoholic who brings alcohol in a tumbler to work. this got to a point where all the other employees noticed the bullying and would point it out to others like soyeon
- yeonil was bullied when he was a child for being “smelly” and is obsessed with perfumes to mask any possible scent there would be on him
- yeonil has been smoking since he was in high school, he stated that Mingyu became acquainted with him only because he wanted to learn how to smoke, and he took pity on all the kids whose parents didn’t show up on graduation day and fook a picture with them
- mingyu is the CEO’s son
- yeonil is obsessed with having a pet because when he was a kid he saw on tv that dogs will give you unconditional love etc and he was never loved by anyone in his life
- yeonil worked at a convenience store when he was in high school 7 years ago (17) baek dam (was 24) was a regular at the convenience store and presumably gave yeonil some food when he wasn’t feeling well (it’s hinted at that he gave him food) baek dam doesn’t remember yeonil working there
- yeonil quit both drinking and smoking for baek dam and would send him breathalyzer test results every hour. the sudden stop of his two addictions gave him insomnia, which ended in him only being able to sleep when he was next to dami
- all their sex was consensual, granted they’ve only had sex like 2 times I think
- everytime they eat together, dami must be given permission before he can eat
- yeonil only has a dad, who doesn’t really care for him at all
- baek dam has an older twin sister who gave him a complex due to how favored she is compared to him
- yeonil likes dami because he was the only one who ever actually gave him actual attention (he’s liked him for the past 7 years i assume)
- in their character profiles and ship questions, dami was stated to be the more obsessive, possessive, and jealous one
- dami has social anxiety, and only dated one other person (a girl when he was in university) but she cheated on him with his best friend
- yeonil likes to cook
- soyeon does not have a crush on dami for no reason, she likes him because he was different from the bad rumors about him by being nice to her and going out of his way to do things for her like asking yeonil what hand cream he uses. Also because he’s been leading her on LMAO.
