I got very interested in this webtoon because some people on this site seemed to commend it and the author. Currently at chapter 55 and so far I'm really not liking the characters except Saharah (even though he, too, is really a complicated character so far). Suu is, how do I put it, really complex. I don't like him but I don't dislike him. I understand he is only human and humans tend to act irrational at times and Suu is only obeying orders from different people and doing everything it takes to achieve what he really wants, but it's getting really irritating how he gets easily swayed by Jin even though he knows himself that no one is to be trusted in that damn shrine, not even the people he spies for. I wonder if his opinion about Jin would change once he finds out that he's the crown prince and is only using Suu for his own purposes, although it's clear that Jin has an ounce of fondness for Suu, but it's obvious that he has ulterior motives. I will continue reading this and hope it gets better. But in conclusion, I really just fucking detest Jin.

I'm glad to know that. Stopped at chapter 71 and so far really no development for Suu except fragments of his lost memories when he was a kid which is a good thing nonetheless, I just want them to focus on plot because as I see it it's just Jin making passes on Suu whenever he pleases. Jin, however, I do not understand him still. What is his real goal, what is he trying to achieve. Why does he always try to kill the dragon even though he wants Suu to properly make him grow. Everything is still a question but I'll continue reading hoping for something good, if not I'll just drop it. :(
Totally agree that's why up until now I'm waiting for 3 update chapters to appear before reading it so that I will not be disappointed for the development of the story, I hope so (⌒▽⌒)
Yeah everyone is pretty much trashy here. But that in my opinion is better than having two scum love interests and one oblivious protagonist who is bound to get hurt at every twist and turn.

No I think this was to show that he was raised with a lot of internalized homophobia and show how that might've turned to violence against soon later on.

You only ever realized someone else's value when they're gone. Happened to Sungha, but Vampire dude realized this. He was basically taking Sooin for granted. His kindess was a facade and at that point they're basically the same, just different way of handling Sooin. Better be a good vampire in the future or I'll see you turning to ash, istg
