Agreed. The FL is neither naive or stupid. She is extremely traumatized and repressed. Blamed for her sisters passing, almost r@ped by her fiancé who has barely any repercussion and expected to act like a "proper woman" with no thought to her. Anytime she starts standing up for herself, the brother and father, push her back down. I hope the ML is a demon and she makes a deal with him to get revenge on them.

How I see it is that right now she doesn't love him, more like, he's taboo - everything he stands for (or represents) is the opposite of what she knows plus he is hott. As for self-respect, it's hard to have any when the family keeps shitting on it. I will keep reading as long as the FL grows in her character and I hope we learn more about the ML character and his back story. I do hope ML is a demon and FL gets revenge. Also, personally for me, my measure for a whore bastard is the abusive husband/fiance who beats/or manipulates his wife/fiance and sleeps around trope. But hey to each their own.
