pretty sure thats not the ell innthat body, I remember reading somewhere that the author of the story got transported into ell the ogfl so she expects everything that happens to ell will happen to her, but since Phil was transmigrated there, the story changed from the OG
long story short, thats not the OG FL in that body, the OG FL is exactly like her real mom, gentle and kind.
shell return to her body in the end and she loves FL, she thinks FL is strong and wants her to be her adopted sister, like how his majesty acts with phil wanting to adopt her, hope that helps

Just a minor correction, Phil wasn't transmigrated. Phil was the actual Phil who found a book with future events as a child and got traumatised by the events described in the book about her & decided to become self reliant and mature as soon as possible.

OGworld is an otome game with Philomel being the cookie cut out baddie but her ending wasn't bad as she ends up living her fam in mage tower. Some chick HATED that and wrote fanfic with an ending for Philomel that it attracts other fans and people may as well consider it canon.
Bad ending fanfic is what Philomel basically finds (Will add spoiler about that at the end of this) and she treats it as gospel. On one hand, it feels like half-truths but basically she feels a little disoriented at events not playing out as they do in the book. Enter Ellencia, rather fake bitch who is author of said fanfic. She basically fantasizes having OGEllencia's life but is acting sort of like a caricature of the real character. As you've seen, she acts as supposed MC very VERY poorly. She hates Philomel and could honestly care less about her and hates the fact that she's getting all the attention.
As for the book (MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD):
future Philomel from original timeline (I think) sends it back in time to our Philomel to help her as they somehow found the anomaly (don't remember specifics sorry). Future Philomel is living in mage tower and has fam help in sending the book back.

Ngl I disliked the art in the beginning, not that it was bad just not my preference so I never gave this a chance, but I decided to read it 2 days ago bc of the glowing reviews from yall and I'm so glad I did. It's so cute and sweet, and makes my heart clench, I love them so much!!! And I'm glad the art kinda improved over the course of the series too
That was me too. The first time I wanted to read this the art didn't look pleasing to me but I read half the chapter and dropped it. Later I re-read it again and binged the 10 volumes when I read it.
