Honestly, I would have at least preferred they use something a little more obscure. MY choice would have been Vegeta's Final Shine Attack from GT. Bonus points: it can even be performed with one hand.

Do you mean the Big Bang Attack? A - Not really obscure, though not as iconic as the Garlic Gun or the Final Flash. B - It doesn't really take any longer than the Kamehameha, and it is definitely NOT strong enough to kill anyone.

No, yeah, it's obvious now. The Japanese name is Genki Dama, which literally means "Energy Ball". I initially watched the dub and while I'm on board with most of the Japanese technique names now, "Genki Dama/Energy Ball" still doesn't sit right with me. It sounds, I don't know, underwhelming?
That being said, it can only be cast with one hand, to charge it requires both. And it would take way too long in this fight.
