I've never despised a character so much before, but Oscar is making it reeeeally easy for me to hate him. I'm sorry, I do understand that he is a very complex character but I just want him to get beheaded or hanged or sumthin

This is not for the faint of heart. I cried a bunch. My heart aches for them both and for everyone in this story.
Each character was actually intricately written that it's honestly hard to truly hate even one (probably except that one disgusting pig that tried to get his way with Annette in the church).
This was a really good read with such depth to the characters. Looking forward to the side stories. (I hope they adopt Joseph/Yosef)
