This comment section is so lit... LOL
Side note, can you stop bashing the translator? She/he does not have any ill intent to harm the author, but rather advocate to support the author. Imagine yourself being harassed by multiple people calling them a hypocrite of supporting the artist etc. Straight up harassment tbh.
I'm not actually reading these translations (reading on Lez... and here for the comments lol).

The ost for this webtoon is constantly playing in my head while reading this. So catchy lol

I am rereading for FOS and FYL the 4th time and....
@v05 or clown or anyone
When you said the kr readers "hated" the heejoo heavy arc, did they just hate the arc or hate heejoo the character... or just general hate LOL

Not a reader from Korea but just a guess, they probably hated it bc it was too focused on Heejoo. I personally didn't feel this way, but if I was waiting for new releases every week wanting to see progress w/ the main couple, but instead get flashback scenes of a side character spanning multiple chapters, and nearing the season 1 finale as well, I could see why they would be bummed out. So they probably just hated how long the arc took lol.
Currently on chapter 22
Tbh, I ship hyungdo and joo jinhyuk more as of current...
Who the hell likes snakes... hisss! like wtf don't people find lee gyung toxic af...
I- I um, I.. I like snakes-... um, I’ll leave-
I... uhm i like snakes if it's Lee Gyung maybe...
You're literally not even done reading-.
No wonder you don't get why readers don't find him toxic.
Even if I wasn't done reading at this point, I still would think he's toxic lol... not sure if you're reading properly and but justifying his actions as not toxic.... ????
He literally forced himself onto hyungdo in the alley, he even claims himself as manipulative to amuse himself in the past, controlling of hyungdos lifestyle, etc etc....
Not sure if you're writing season 1 off. Its just silly that you're defending that he's not toxic? Major yikes.
Usually I don't care about plots revolving around these types of scenarios. You read what you like, but at least try not misconceive the characters and plots. Regardless, it was a nice smutty read. I liked it.
well but in season 2 he'll have his character development tho I won't deny that he's really toxic (=・ω・=)
Character development is great and all. Just the previous reply never seems to reread what they post
He changes. I never said he wasn't toxic. I said you prob wouldn't understand why readers don't find him toxic because he has huge character development in the S2. And you're only in chapter 22. I'm going off from the present, not from the past. But that doesn't mean we should discard his whole past completely. I'm just saying, readers don't find him toxic anymore because he's changed for the good, and everything is better now. Not defending him, more like making an understanding. He's toxic at the start, but towards a bit into the middle he changes.
But, Hyungdo KNEW this guy was trouble. He knew from the start that Gyung was bad news. Yes, he threw himself onto him in the alleyway, but after that, who spent like 2 weeks at home doing nothing, but then they finally go outside and just so happens to meet the guy who threw himself onto him in the alleyway, but instead of telling him to fuck off, he tells him i love you? Hyungdo. But yk, thats just how yaoi works. Without plot, without shit, without drama, a yaoi isn't all that interesting.
You're literally changing your statement from don't find him toxic in the original reply to now I never said he wasn't toxic? Lol contradicting much...
You're only on chapter 22 a few days ago when I originally posted this comment lol idk why you're still going off on this statement when it still doesn't ignore the fact he was still toxic and ofc as a main character gets character development. You literally just could've worded your original reply better or retract your original statement instead of going on a tangent.
Wow you actually read season 1 and recalled what occurred! Maybe you'll fall in love with someone just as toxic in reality and just say you understand your toxic partner and let them do whatever they want because you think they are not toxic at all.
Not trying to be mean, but you replied with a misperceptive statement like that is flaw
Wow just wow. It's one thing talking about fictional character but wishing this happen to a real life person is something. Your more tpxic in my opinion.
I apologize for that rash statement as triggered by the previous comment. I was trying to say to picture themselves in hyungdos shoes irl as opposed to fiction.
My statement? My statement from the WHOLE start was, readers don't find him toxic anymore because he's changed. Maybe if you'd read or reflect on what he's done AFTER reading, you might understand why readers don't hate him anymore! You know, people change! :D
I gave you MY OPINION IN THE LAST COMMENT. Was a bit one sided. But if you're SO INTERESTED on my opinion so much since you assumed it, then I'm sure you might be glad to hear my opinion on Hyungdo. Since I kinda only went for Gyung.
And it's not my opinion that he changed, it's literally FACTS. LOL
In my first reply, I never ONCE said my OPINION.
I only stated, "No wonder you don't get why readers don't find him toxic" I never ONCE implied or stated I was on Gyung's or Hyungdo's side, OR that Gyung WASN'T, WAS, OR NEVER WAS TOXIC.
YOU got that impression without any context. Sure my response was dry and a bit short in the first one but that's because I didn't expect to hit your nerves or anybody's nerves LOL. I thought I'd get a simple "Why don't you think readers don't find Gyung toxic anymore?" That was the RESPONSE I hoped to get. Not you saying I'm defending him or taking his side. What I literally meant from the start was Gyung isn't really a bad person at the end, he changes, and A LOT of fans have forgiven him.
I'm only going off Chapter 22 because how the fuck am I supposed to know what chapter you're on now? Could've stopped reading since it kinda gets boring there. LOL
And woah clashing between 2 worlds. You're getting real into this!
1.) I don't really have such interest for a love life. Let alone, a toxic love life. But if my partner were toxic, I know it's for a reason. You know, everything has a cause and a reason behind it. Somebody toxic, might not even be HEALTHY, or MENTALLY STABLE. I'd get my partner, friend, sex partner whatever they are some help. Or you know, some people are just rebellious, or are into a toxic person. You know, masochist and sadists exist....
2.) Man, I never knew a slight comment can make someone go completely apeshit to the point they wish for me to experience a toxic relationship... it's almost kinda hilarious. "major yikes"
Highly sensitive ppl like you really shouldn't be reading these types of stories. It seems you distort real life with fiction. It is perfectly understandable to feel a certain way about a "character" and it is your right to express that. Maturity is agreeing to disagree when someone doesn't agree with you or is trying to explain the possibilities to why. Immaturity is personalizing and weaponzing a person's stance and using as an attack on their character as a person. I read what you wrote to the person who was trying to explain the stance of many readers at this point and your response was extremely immature. I am saying this as a adult. Not a preteen or teenager. A fully grown adult. Perhaps you should instead stay on the more fluffy side of BL/Yaoi until you are able to debate with others (who are actually strangers whom you know nothing about their personal lives) in a more mature, not emotionally charged manner.
My statement from the start was that I still find him toxic regardless of the character development. People change, but history does not, and the opinion's of traumatized individuals affected by their toxic actions may never change. FYI I finished reading by the time you replied the first time, and implied it every single reply I have given you. Just because I have not finished reading at original reply, I should be expecting him to no longer be toxic? (Thanks for the spoiler, never asked btw) Regardless I still considered Gyung as toxic at the end. The way you wrote your original response sounded troll that slightly came off as belittling (It sounded as if "You failed to understand material, no wonder why you're so dumb because you have not finished reading!") just because I have not finished reading along with confusing emojis as if I'm not a reader without an opinion. I finished reading, and I get that he gets character development. But, my opinion differs. Because of this type of response, of course I would respond differently as you expected, as everyone would respond differently. Anyways, thanks for clarifying your stance, but my stance on Lee Gyung still stands as it is. To address, you made a GENERAL statement about readers as a whole as if you were inclusive in that statement. Of course one would get the impression that your opinion would follow.
I apologized for my rash statement about wishing that kind of experience upon you, but I guess you ignored it and took it the wrong way. I'll apologize again and I genuinely wish that kind of experience does not happen to you.
