That guy from Vtic, Cheongryeo, is a regressor. He regressed hundreds of times/resetting the timelines to ensure he and his group was successful. He got addicted to offing/regressing himself. So he wanted to try to see if he killed Moondae or if Moondae offed himself- if he would get to regress again. He ends up beating Moondae up too with a bat (or maybe it was a crowbar? He hits him with something repeatedly). I hated it. I skimmed thru the arc tbh. It pissed me off all the bullshit that came out of his mouth. Moondae is forced to explain the system he has stuck to him.

i think the character development/switch up being seen as 'random' is bcs of the pacing. wished the pacing was better, cause when stories get these types of random switch ups, it makes me think that they have a split personality going on ong lmao
