gotta add in: 7 years into the the relationship, mugyeong needs to learn to listen to his partner more and not be as defensive. there wasn't any growth nor him acknowledging the fact that he was wrong after the guy confessed his intentions.
also, during the main story, mg tried his best to express his feelings verbally, but suddenly a couple years later he regressed into not even being able to say "i like you" back to his 7-year boyfriend? the side stories made no sense
