As you said, “not liking gays is one thing”. According to Collins Dictionary, the use of “is one thing” is used to contrast your first idea (being homophobic) with a second idea (posting about it online) and emphasize that the second one is much more extreme. Finally, I concluded my argument stating that there is no such thing as “liking” or “disliking” someone’s existence. You’re either homophobic or not. Homophobia is disgusting, so ofc the action of homophobic person will also be disgusting.
