The one thing that made the story unique was the framing device of the girl in between who knew they were in love honestly would've preferred if the three of them became friends(or polyamourous 3 way relationship) or the childhood friends/couple got a friend group whoch would've created more opportunities for entertaining character dynamics and interactions because after a certain point the author/artist abandons the framing device of "girl inbetweens POV" and just sort of gives you interactions of the two boys which is kind of stale and boring when you consider the fact that because of the untraditional introduction we got less attached and accustomed to the love story and the characters which leads to me in particular not caring what happens to the main couple because you know how it's going to play out Ren will be childish while looking like a thug and Tadaomi likes that so he plays into it by being perfect. So yeah real boring wish the concept had better planning and execution because it was really weird when we just cut the outsiders POV out as it felt real generic without the long typical inner monologues of BL in which we learn of characters deep feelings of love and their perspectives on the situation.
I can tell glasses girl is going to be endgame. This has a really interesting hook but oh my god glasses girl is so boring and basic it's annoying. Glasses girl is shy, polite, secretly beautiful when she takes off her glasses so only MC has to fight for her, low self esteem, unathletic, no friends, cute, in love with MC from the shadows(she fell in love with his gardening(wtf),pure and innocent. She has nothing personalised, no personality, no quirks, no hobbies, no friends and who knows maybe the author will give her a brother for the classic trope "Guy gets jealous over guy with main girl but plot twist it's her brother". I just wished she had something to give her some flavour cause she is so bland basic.

I understand that it's a cliche but you're making it sound worse than it is. It's basically expected at this point. The Japanese audience loves those tropes so it's risky for any story there to deviate from the normal. They are just remixing and remaking what is familiar. The biggest one just so happens to be "The journey of Romance" trope. It's not designed for impatient people who just want them to get it over with and start dating or for people not into romance.
Mostly sex with shallow relationship because wouldn't you believe it they fell in love through sex no conversation nor after care no pillow talk. Porn actor falls in love with the uke because uke is "not like other girls". It's really bland and disappointing as a result because the whole story basically goes "when you get horny for someone it's because you're in love" at least for the uke. As a smut it leaves much to be desired in layout and composition a lot of the sex scenes feel very stiff (probably because artist can't draw buff guys without making them look stiff because "muscles are always hard"). Just wish there was some more BL in this yaoi or maybe more communication during sex or them having literally any other interaction that isn't just fucking or talking about work and/or money. Really think about what we know about our two main leads on the one hand you have famous pornstar turned loyal boyfriend through the magical mindblowing sex with the other guy(totally not a wattpad young girl self insert fanfic) how'd he become a pornstar? Who cares.
