Was enjoying it until we got to the ML home and she gets really obnoxious with how she gets insta-flustered by simply falling into his arms and I get that she's never been in a relationship before but it got grating really fast and not in a cute way but in a "I'm a cute uwu girl who gets shy but I'm also kinda quirky and not like other girls so I made him laugh because I'm special" shy characters get really grating because their whole "shy and sensitive to any sort of romance" is really easy to get old and I've seen it too often overall seems really boring and predictable at best and annoying in a "does he like me??? No way *proceeds misunderstandings* oh he likes me but now I'm uber shy and can barely hold his hand"
Saintess defo wants the demon lord. Also weird how all the ages are confirmed and some are implied to be older men like c'mon don't let the 17 year old get with an old man (saintess and demon lord + sword master, general, librarian, priest/holy dude). The female gaze is how post timeskip Michael is. This man always has cleavage and essentially just dresses like a slut with how he constantly wears a choker.
That sex scene tho
*Foreplay ongoing*
Michael: hey that lake looks dope and all the windows point to the lake(I don't know how THAT makes sense)
Anemone: wait what *checks it out* you're right it does look cool
Michael: anyways I'm putting it in now
Anemone: wait wha-
If you want the entire novel summarized you can get them from the under the oak tree YouTube channel. It's in the form of rough doodles and summarized with an ai voice.
I love when we get those queit moments of sadness from Haru where there's no text on screen and you're just left to sit with what has happened and you're feelings towards it coupled with Haru's acceptance and indifference. Like the extra morning-after-scene with the researcher where Haru attempts to call out to him and he ignores her like he's ashamed or embarrassed to be associated with her and there's very little verbal feedback displayed to tell the audience how to feel and you FEEL it. That crushing sense of loneliness and low self esteem is captured so elegantly and excellently that I will never forget. I will wake up early in the morning and think about the feelings this story has imbued by having those quiet scenes where you're left to sit with the scene in the hopeless pit alongside these characters.
Me thinks the first girl fell in love with and had a kid with beast king and god didn't like that. Beast king is the demon lord. I mean they are the same person. Demon lord has been grieving the deaths for years. Haru fix the broken demon lord with sex.
Don't touch Kiyori. Don't be mean to her please she's doing her best. I want to die page 11.
If she brings in the sick guy while he's cheating he's gonna say "well why did you bring another man home?" "he's sick" "unlikely coincidence.
I understand that the women aren't the focus and that women come in all shapes and sizes but dear god can some of these artists not draw women. Like they're will be the most jacked handsome guy, dad bod guy, twink guy etc and then the woman characters are just the guys with long hair and (maybe) boobs and if you're lucky the girl will be wearing a ......
If and when he finds out that it was his daughter's poison and that she was planning to do he's gonna feel like such a shitty dad.
I like how she's fighting but still doesn't resolve to kill anyone. She just pushed the one guy into the sea and told his company to help him out. Glad she didn't get hurt. Hope Thorfin's healing or getting medical attention while this is ongoing.
Oh my god this is IT. THE moment. She's going home because she thinks he's working overtime and won't be there. I want the mistress to find out so bad too it's not fair to make her the other woman and lie to her she's gonne be really mad he lied and sad that she's been played I really hope they're not gonna demonize her for being tricked and make her double down on staying with him by him saying "my wife sucks and I was gonna/am alreading divorcing her". Na Haesoo is gonna find out and she's not gonna do anything about she's gonna stay quiet she's not walking into the room she'll hear but she'll stay away because she's spineless
I'm all caught up now to wait for the revenge arc cause he just said he wasn't gonna sit around to wait it out. I also wanna learn more about Beom he feels mysterious and now I wanna know why he does this and is obsessed with her istg if it's daddy or mommy issues it better not be some of that siegmend frieud (I know I probably didn't spell it right I didn't check) shit.
Also in the summary it said she had a miscarriage and I'm waiting for that shoe to drop. I'm sorry if I sound dumb but why are they divorced? They mention that they're separated but still live together and consider each other marital partners.
The only gripe I have with the art style (other than the thigh gap and "wow she's so hot even though she doesn't diet or work out) the girl's arms are too skinny compared to her boobs. It's like strings on a balloon. Oh my god her arms are skinny and I can't stop looking.
I was wondering where we were now, why the heck are they pairing her off with her fox spirit that was essentially an adult in her life, he felt more brotherly or fatherly than romantic.
I thought this one was special because it had 2 protagonists of opposite sexes as MCs and they weren't romantically involved (thank god) nor were they copy and paste the same person. He's been sidelined apparently.
Basically main dude is in college with brown hair. He goes to a gay bar to drink away his sorrows of being single when he bumps into the love interest he quotes the magical girl show from his childhood (something about love) and then the love interest (bulky black haired rich serious heir dude) becomes downbad and they date. At some point the love interest's brother is shown to be in love with the bar tender.
