Great point! But we also have to remember that omegaverse is fictional and can/will bend to what the author wants in a specific storyline. Maybe the character on this story prefers to be called a “mother” in order to help the kid distinguish between him and his partner.
besides the fact it is the omega verse and he is the mama by giving birth to him. There is also the fact that you don't even have to be gay or a parent to be a mama. Kids will dub you whatever they want
