Iwa keeps on saying he likes Harui but he also keeps on going out with Kawamura.
Iwa is an indecisive idiot. Cannot pick between a girl who likes him and the boy he likes. Perhaps pressured by what others may say. Which makes him a total hopeless idiot.
Harui is a cowardly idiot. He likes Iwa but he keeps on pushing him away and even pushes him to Kawamura.
Kawamura is a pushy idiot. It's apparent there's something between the two guys but this bitch just cannot leave Iwa alone. She's so itchy to get in his pants? Desperate bitch. Cannot stand female characters like this. Anyway, it's common in BLs. Lol
Then the ending is nothing but frustrating. Iwa leaves the town to work in another city. Harui then finally musters the courage to confess his love for Iwa.
Then the train door closes. And poof! The end.
Well. That's like an hour of my time I'm not getting back.
And yes, an hour since I've gotta go back and forth trying to understand this very confusing and frustrating work. Hahahaha

I'm glad Takeshi has a happy ending, too. I felt bad for him for how he was dismissed by Shuu easily in the previous book. He was there when Shuu needed company although there seemed to be a clear line of where they stood. It's just the dismissal was quite off for me.
Plus, Takeshi is a gentle seme. It's rare in BLs.
Are there stories I should read before reading this?
With Subaru's introduction in the previous novel, I still cannot say I like him.
He deserves the slap in the last chapter. Or maybe he deserves more. He used the guy since he somehow resembled Kei.
As for Wataru, he should have just died. What he did to Kei in the past is rather unforgivable. Physically absuing him by punchihg and kicking him, burning him with cigarette, and letting his friends rape him. It's too much. He deserved death.
A painful death. If I were Kei, I'd expose what Wataru did to me to his wife.

The ending ruined everything for me. I liked this work, really. Until I saw the ending or the extra chapter, no. 13. I mean wtf? Was that really necessary? I ugh no. No. No!

The last one ruined the mood for me.
The uke cheated on the seme. He had an affair with a woman and he got her pregnant.
He went away, left the seme, and married the lady. Six years after, the wife died of car accident, so the uke went back to his old house as the seme's neighbor.
Then, the uke confessed that all this time he was still in love with the seme and that he married the woman because she looked like the seme and she was already pregnant.
They got together again after.
Wait. Boy oh boy. If your wife didn't die, would you go back to the seme? I don't think so. They had 2 kids after all. He mentioned himself that he married her since he couldn't run away from his responsibility. Why did he cheat in the first place? And really, a woman? I don't know, but it pains me more if a gay guy cheats on his bf with a woman. Maybe because I know that gays don't stand a fight against women, especially in real life. Trust me.
The uke is a user asshole. He just needed somebody to lean and depend on. The seme is stupid for easily accepting him back. They even had sex immediately, not even before the days of mourning for the wife has passed!
