yeah taku kinda does deserve it. though i like to think of him as a catalyst. he broke joowon and haesoo out of their toxic cyclic relationship of dependency, after which joowon grew as a person and haesoo realised about his feelings for joo.
none of the direct credit goes to taku. but im glad he entered this story, because only good things came out of it.
all of the characters were equally toxic at the start of the story (just my opinion), and have changed for the better or worse. but all of them still have feelings. i'd hope to see a well rounded ending where, more than the ships, the author focuses on their personal growth.
i just love the author for giving me this masterpiece. the art is amazing, i love the dull colour palette. the story is realistic and the characters having their flaws only adds to the charm of it all.

"He wished him hard time in his new relationship, regret and more or less unhappiness."
so taku did something like that to haesoo it seems
i dont understand if the reason was that he was heartbroken thus spiteful, or he was always a selfish bitch like this. it'll make it easier for me to let go of taku though tbh. i always felt like taku wasnt exactly manipulative, just pushy. and that the author was intending for this to be a struggle to choose b/w joowon and taku, so she would up the competition b/w them by making them equally complicated characters.
now i think taku is just immature when it comes to love. either he'll get worse at relationships, or he'll grow and learn from the heartbreak.
ik lots of people are selfish when it comes to love, but taku has crossed the line
i wish you happiness m'boy but stay away from haesoo and joowon now
i-IS HE HARD?!?
YOU DONT KNOW HOW FAST I SCROLLED BACK TOTHE END OF THE CHAPTER TO SEE IF HE WAS HARD BUT WHEEWWWW LAWDDD
