They're stuck in the bodies of 5 year olds, what can they do? Just because they have 18 extra years of experience (in a completely different world) doesn't give them much of an advantage. In this world, they are just smarter/more mature children with telepathy between the two of them. They are at the mercy of the people around them until they are physically old enough to fight for themselves.
I'm not blaming them as characters. I'm saying stories with plots that make the mc can't/don't do anything give me anger issues
