Takarai-sensei knows exactly what's going on in my head. I have been wondering what is Kurose's issue, his troubles, since most of the chapters are centered on Shirotani and I did not get anything from Kurose's past aside from being neglected and that his fascination to mysophobia was because of that old guy. I have theories but they're not hitting it right. I hope ch 39 and onward would give light to Kurose's issue. Putting my chapter analysis hat on again.

Shit. I feel like crying. Than Tobinaga!! STOP HARASSING KARASUMA! EX-BOYFRIEND?!!! GTFO! Ugh, this even makes me more MAD!! He played with Karasuma before (next chapter)!! I felt how Karasuma was so upset that ex-b came back and right away harassing him. He tried to use Takaba to feel better, gain his resolve again but totally failed and even realized that he wanted to paired with him, even begging Takaba to bite him. I think he did that because of the trauma ex-b did.
I think although Karasuma was already used with sex before entering the company, Ex-b taught him how to whore himself out. Just guessing here.

Seriously, read beyond "slutty uke". How can there be a slutty and weak uke when he said himself that he hates alphas? What could be the reason for letting them do that to him? This amazing uke is trying to survive and it's heart warming that finally, someone appeared to save him from hell.
But if the uke is supposedly so strong, as you all claim here, owning his sexuality, knowing what to do to survive, confident, capable, why does he need someone to save him? Only a weak person needs a survivor. And by the way, didn't the omega himself chose that hell? He could have chosen another path.
He is strong as he tried to fight discrimination but it's self-destructive so he must be saved. Someone needs to tell him that he doesn't need to do what he's doing any more. Is there really another path? In a close-minded society, his father part of the elite, how do you prove, as an omega, your worth? Doing the right way, being a saint, won't get him anywhere with his purpose and that is getting his father's attention.
Someone needs to tell him that he doesn't need his father's mere attention and acceptance, love is enough, someone else can accept him for who he is, not as an omega but an equal being.

I love this so much!! I can't help but just love the characters. I see Kurusawa as the Yashiro (Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai) of the omegaverse. He has the exact same thought process or logic as Yashiro. Wasting oneself is a way damaged people protect themselves from getting emotionally hurt. They seek dominance by doing the exact opposite of dominating. They hunger for affection but hate it or is reluctant when given to them because it would ruin the thick walls they have built over the years to stay away from feeling anything.
Meeting someone who defies their resolution just tears their world apart and pushes them to freeing themselves from the prison they kept themselves in. A person who would just not give in to their drama and just make them face their issues head on, like really face them and not faking it just to get through.

But this is gold. I just love the characters. Omegaverse or not, the uke is perfect. Strong headed and manipulates people by making them think they have power over him when it's the opposite. An alpha who has self-control and a heartbreaking backstory to support it. Can't help but love this story. I already saw the raws and without understanding any Japanese, you just know that the story's gonna get worse, I mean get more emotional.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I also saw the raws and I just can't wait for the translation. To everyone who's saying the uke is being slutty for no reason - you're gna eat you're words. Don't bash on him cuz you know nothing about him and everyone has their reasons for what they do. I'm already in love with this manga, especially the two characters' relationship. They both learn from each other and change for the better and that's just the best in any romance.
IKR? Come on, chapter 4. That one's my favorite. I get chills reading that chapter. The chemistry and desire is so strong, felt like my screen's gonna pop, I'm exaggerating but it's that good. I rarely find stories that emotions pop out of the page with little to no dialogues at all, well in this case untranslated dialogues, what more when it's finally translated?
But this is hot so I'll just read this while listening to the drama cd. Definitely makes me digest the story better.
