like, i totally see why that is a concern for him. to not want him to be hurt by cruel people like those in his own family.

i really love how it makes you sympathetic to each of their stories. you also feel a lot of resentment to them both, equally, for what they did. you know where the blame falls from the start. it's rather unique and rare to have a manga portray these things right. (Moritat was like that too.)
i don't know what i'm so into these psychological ones that the MC's both kind of mind fuck each other.
