I think he was talking about his fake identity... since he said he was someones son and that he would be attending in his place... but that son was only a moth old... so he improvised and said that he had a growth spurt...

Pretty sure they meant the actual chapters keep ending at the good parts. Half the fun of reading an ongoing story is the anticipation of another chapter. Some stories have a chapter/translation come out only 4 times a year but you can believe there are people refreshing the window re-reading every few weeks/months just wishing for more and internally thanking the people with the knowledge and the patience to work on these great stories. I really don't think they meant to sound ungrateful for all the hard work that went into it.

Forgive us, Nenny. We've both sacrificed a great deal of time and sleep to bring you guys Deadlock and get cranky when the only things we hear are, "UPDATE PLZ!" and griping. We wouldn't be doing this if we didn't love you guys.
