woah i dropped this like 3 years ago is this actually worth it to catch up someone pls tell me

yesh, screw instant gratification, that would make the story shallow and over in like 60 episodes. It's got layers and complexities and supporting characters with other stuff going on too. don't listen to ppl that jsut want to ship the two leads and are just being thirsty. unless that's what you want too, in which case please go ahead and leave

i feel so frustrated for tay. it’s the fact that he’s always going through some crazy eventful shit that never goes right for him. to be completely honest i really didn’t want him to reunite with Ilay for a REALLY long time and like his uncle always keeps him in the dark which pisses me off so much

Literally, the runaway arc was done so poorly. I feel like they started it off so dramatic (good), even their reunion was really dramatic but it came too soon, and then they jump right into sex with no redemption. Like I get it, this isn’t a conventional “love” story, but if they were gonna make them reunite so damn fast and have Tay easily give in to going back, the least they could’ve done is wait off on the sex (or vice versa and not let Tay go back to Hong Kong). Would’ve been nice to see more chasing, hiding, and close calls until ultimately facing each other, that when they finally did do it again, it would’ve been satisfying. So far it’s just Tay giving in because Ilay will kill him

Right! I remember reading spoilers about how the sex after their reunion is so passionate and ooooo there’s a mirror but then to get this? I get it’s in character for Ilay to be forceful but why does he gets his way every single time? It’s another case of Rose & Champagne, just another MC settling for an asshole ML. I love enemies to lovers/redemption stories but it has to be done right
i finally came back to finish this and wow
