Normally, I love almost all of Yamamoto Kotetsuko's works. But this one, man. I find it so hard to enjoy. Kenji's shit personality and the seme's doormat simp behavior makes it tough for me to enjoy their interactions. I know people find the other/main couple to be kinda boring because they like each other, but there's something about people just being happy that makes me enjoy the read. Like Honto Yajuu, they're stupid happy which makes reading their slice of life story super pleasant.
Honto Yaju is like the besssssst. I love the interactions and i actually like most of the pairings (especially Aki and Ueda); except for this new pairing our beloved sensei is trying to create (the porn star guy and the stuck up police). I honestly think sensei has a habit of trying to give everyone a partner? Like... It's not really important. It's cool to have a side character who is straight or maybe is just single yanno?
