this was a pretty interesting story. people with split personalities or dissociative identity disorder are usually brought about by extreme emotions caused by some form of trauma. in this case, yuuta was born out of yuki's desire to have a child with tomohisa and his fear of losing him, on top of the emotional pressure and hurt he experienced from his father's selfish wishes. the alter (yuuta) also tends to somewhat play the role of a protector as seen in the scene when yuki immediately switched with yuuta when he was about to get scolded by tomohisa. think of it as the alter also acts like a shield to protect the host (yuki) hence, also why he was born. but typically, for systems with multiple alters, each one usually has a different role according to their individual personality, age, attitude, etc. it wouldn't be surprising if yuuta had his own lover in the future. alters are their own individual persons. even though he resides in the same body, yuuta is not yuki. there are real life cases of people with DID where each of their alters has their own boyfriend/girlfriend. i find it vv intriguing

This was really good ╥﹏╥ I didn't expect it to end on such a happy note, so I'm relieved. I only wish there were more scenes with Yuki and Rou slowly building up their relationship as brothers. But I'm glad that they acknowledged each other so I'm still quite satisfied nonetheless.
