This story really resonated with me. The struggles and the uncertainties of unrequited love and getting into a relationship were represented in such a sensitive and realistic sense. At some points it was hard to grasp how each of them truly felt, especially with the subtle underlying meanings in their words, but I think that's what made it interesting. Emotions are indeed complex and most of the time fickle. I really love how these characters felt so real and it wasn't hard to put myself in their shoes. Some parts really stabbed me in the heart. In a sense it somehow feels like I grew together with them throughout the story. Not to mention the color combinations really set the mood for this! Loved it.
I do understand why some people would think it's boring, but for me I kinda liked the subdued yet delicate depiction. It makes it all the more genuine.
i swear, stories with kids really have a different kind of healing ╥﹏╥
