I read in a comment how Helena is “clinging” to the crown prince and I found it so funny. Funny because it didn’t pass anyone’s mind that maybe the one being clingy is the crown prince. Or that she’s probably being tossed around like some kind of doll while she’s unable to say anything because she’s nothing more than a maid.
Ik but I think she still really inconsiderate towards the fact that the FL and the prince are engaged and she’s always being so flirty with him. Like she that girl when the prince is acting up she says “CalM DOwN FOr ME. cmOn tHIs iSNt You” she needs to respect when someone’s already in a relation ship shit. She’s so dumb and naive to even realize that the prince even likes her , god!! I would be like pls back tf up.
Yeah but I understand why the mc thinks that way since she’s basing everything off of the novel she read. All her information comes from a sparkly version of Helenas story, a story of romance and love where both people are willing participants.
Not to mention her life thus far hasn’t diverged from the plot at all, whether that be plot points of the story, or the characters them selves, she has no reason to believe that the novel was inaccurate.

The one inconsiderate about the engagement is the crown prince and it’s only logical for her to say that if that’s the way she’s seen that works on him to calm him down (does this sentence make sense? Cause English isn’t my first language and I’m not sure). I don’t know how the writer is going to play it out but maybe sees not as dumb and naive as she seems. Maybe she knows full well of her situation and she’s trying to survive using what she’s got. Our MC got a wealthy and loving family but what does the fl has except the prince’s and queen’s (I think?) favor. And that bs about respecting the relationship, if the person that is INVOLVED in the relationship doesn’t respect it then no one around them will.
True true. I was just saying that everyone was so quick on hating her. It isn’t that hard to see both sides of the coin. The only thing I’m going to say that she should have done after talking with the MC is telling the crown prince to grow some balls (I really hate this phrase but I didn’t know what else to say) and go ask his dad to break the engagement already and take responsibility for his damn actions, since the only power she currently has is being able to influence the prince
What about that one chapter whenever the prince thought the FL hurt Helena and he fucking slapped her. Helena had more than enough time to say she didn’t and that she’s innocent in order to stop the prince from slapping her. Instead she just stood there and said nothing
Legit don’t know. I don’t think we should be reading too much into it cause the author needed that slap to happen for the sake of the story, so making the go to stand up to the crown prince wouldn’t make sense. At the end of the day we need to remember that this is a comic and the characters do whatever is convenient for the plot the author choose. What we over think could be something that completely went over the authors head lol
