100% sure she started losing her holy powers bc she wasn't following God's teachings! People were dying in the past life because she wasn't helping in the church either! It annoys me that she never wants to admit she is wrong and uses God as an excuse for being a shitty person. *spoilers from novel* even after she leaves the palace i believe she would still live the same way. Her life will just keep getting shitter even if she goes back to the temple. Its why I believe the crown prince was able to live a better life after reflection on his past actions and made amends with kael.
