This is only okay because it is fiction, but ladies and gentlemen don't be fooled. If you're in a "relationship" like the ones portrayed by this story run like the wind. They are in no way healthy. Also, I'm not talking about polyamourous stuff there are people like that and they're free to do as they wish. Definitely an entertaining story though. Hopefully, the sister and step mom get what they deserve.

And so Furuya continues to be a character that doesn't learn. If the author wants the audience to like him then Furuya's character needs to be developed. This is just insane, the author just keeps making him a bigger jerk/idiot.
Wasn't it stressed throughout Act I that a real ace is a pitcher that doesn't crumble after giving up a run?!?! Wasn't that Tamba's mistake/downfall? There were other pitchers too like Sanada's attide after giving up a HR or Mei's character growth. Either the author just doesn't want us to like Furuya or he thinks we're idiots. Regardless this is getting old. If it wasn't for the fact that Sawamura is such a likeable character I would have given up on this manga long ago.

I really enjoy how this writer is developing their relationship. It seems more realistic and plausible compared to other manga/manhwa. Plus both characters are very likeable/adorable.

I thought he said it himself that the angle he was held at made it hard for him... Besides, you know technically this body is not as strong as the original, so that also hamper him. I will also like to point out that that asshole prob has more physical strength than him. If all else fails, think it as a way for joohon to save his back and move the plot forward lol. Nope, still call bs. I'm small guy,(1.61 meteres and weigh 55 kilos) I can definitely put up more of a fight. Hell if I can't punch in that angle, then knee him in th crotch or the gut. My point is I'd like to see him put up a fight. However, I guess it's all for the purpose of him being saved. Which I'm not sure how that will happen considering the other guy has no clue where he is at and his phone is shut off.

Look I dont know if you misunderstood me. All I'm trying to say is that based on his character I expected him to put up more of a fight. And my reference to me being small is just an example that I know smaller guys can put up a fight. I'm not saying I expect him to K.O. the bigger as if this was some shonen manga, however, you are welcome to believe and whatever you. Also, maybe in the next chapter he will fight back which then he would redeem himself in my eyes.
Well, unfortunately, I HAVE been put into a similar situation as Taemin is in now. I was a small person up against a big guy, and he caught me at the wrong angle. I was never an expert fighter, but I have had training, and I didn't even get a chance to use it to defend myself. Unlike you, who's angry about the fact that he was unable to put up a fight, I found the realism kind of refreshing.
Is it just me, or is the plot not advancing very much? I'm starting to lose interest. I think I'll take a break to let the story develop.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It isn't bad, it's just kinda bland? I feel like the first couple of chapters were much more intense. Some chapters have so much white space and I know it's to create a feeling of pause or something but it just isn't doing it for me. Maybe I'm just inpatient xD
I agree I like the suspense but I was getting kind of bored so I read the raws even though I dont understand Korean. It takes a long time to get to the point after about ch20 you get a lot more questions answered

I'm a huge football fan so I'm still on the fence with this manga. I understand that a striker has to be greedy, they're there to score goals but I disagree with the believe that all a team needs is the best striker to win a world cup. The manga mentions the best players currently like CR7, Messi, and Neymar but neither one of those players is even a striker nor have they ever won a world cup. Heck most of the legends weren't/aren't strikers they were attacking midfielders. In football the best player in the team is usually given the 10 (creative attacking midfielder aka Messi) jersey not the 9 (striker). It's interesting but my knowledge of footballand my own ideology of it keep me from fully embracing the story. I'll keep reading though maybe it'll grow on me.
I don't think the manga is saying that a striker is all you need, the thing it is saying however is that japan's team has never had a true striker. And also its not really the same to be an individual legend and to win a world cup. The whole point isnt to make the "best player" its to make a player who can win on the world stage with a team built around 1 player scoring. So yea i think its more saying a striker is the missing piece for the japanese team and not that a striker is the 1 thing a team needs.
Even then, I still don't agree that 1 "best striker" is the solution. What do you if that player gets injured or is just overworked? You can't build an entire national team based on one player. Seems to too individualistic when football is a team sport. Just can't agree with that ideology.
Well as it is a international play you dont play all that many games, and im not saying a agree completely with the plan they have all im saying is that what you said about them saying that they were making the best player, and instead just a greedy striker. And yes its a team sport but japan isnt bad internationally they just lack a striker thats the point of this story. And that is like saying dont work on a future star player cause they might get injured, i mean srsly what if actual football teams where like that. And overwork isnt an issue at the world cup as there isnt all that many games you need to play.
Agree. I think this "plan" would be perfect if the winner was not only 1, but like a top 10, so that various footballs teams could play with the best strikers and fight as a team, all players bettering themselves to the level of the strikers. 1 super-striker is a pretty risky strategy.
