Shulli body is mutilated into pieces and spread all over valley and her head is beyond recognition to point nora doesn't let children see her dead body.

So apparently the reason he marries shuli is she resembles his first love, the previous empress. She’s the other pink haired lady the empress reminisces in one of the previous chapters. I can’t say exactly why the priest may have been obsessed with the previous empress but I assume it’s like the emperor and johannes where they “loved” her. In all honesty, Shulis situation is the result of messed up people. Not only did johannes originally create a rift between her and the kids by marrying someone similar to their age but it’s possible he gave her power as the head of the family to prevent her from marrying after his death. There’s other messed up details to the story but Ill end here

For me the priest is kinda stupid........... He fell in love with sulli at first sight at her wedding and he thinks that sulli is a demon that is seducing him. He vow to have her ( by forcing her to join the monastery) . He is so creepy.
