Rereading this series is like a warm hug. The pacing, art, characters (I’ve got it down bad for Theo’s Mom), the spice, THE BEAUTIFUL KIDDOS- it is a real shame that we’ll never see the side stories to this- the warmth of their kids growing up, both Seth & Theo continually growing in their roles and relationship- the Third Prince becoming the Emperor which I really would’ve loved seeing his character more. But I think we can all just imagine what those side stories could’ve been and what they would have hold from such a wonderfull written story. So here’s to rereading this series again and again, taking the fuzzy feels with me. (❀ ︶ ◡ ︶)
So we’ve got Guwon- big dude with violet tendencies to protect the little piece of peace… but no memory of his past- but has settled this little town of people that are worth something… obv there’s a shady start to the town and how they’re all basically scared of Guwon… and his dry reaction to Jinwoo kissing/physical touch… and how Jinwoo said he was cold?? YALL- My ass went straight to Twilight - Like what if he died and came to life again and forgot his past life??? LIKE?? And no he’s relearning to be ‘human’??
And then Jinwoo- he’s got a subconscious that turns violent when he feels like he’s in danger? Like how far can he go to protecting himself? And then the flashbacks to his Dad freaking the f**k out. Ooooooooh this story is soooo goood! I’ve got so many questions! Man, I’m strapped in now. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
you know this theory honestly makes so much sense. that could explain the lines and dashes around his throat or why he has that dead look

So this is certainly a smutty comic with drama and comedy thrown in- but I’ll admit the scene with Naos sister and got that extra layer of character development- showing us where his mindset is- plus with her being a SA victim- I’m happy that the recent chapter (32) happened. There’s a lot to unpack here- even if it’s a ‘smutty’ comic. He has lots of trauma to come to terms with and our girl needs to communicate her feelings. These next chapters I hope are full of diving deeper into how Naos can heal from his sisters death and have some fun times appropriately without feeling guilty.
