I need someone advice I finally have the courage to read this but a lot of people say the novel is better some say the anime is better than the manhua and I already started the novel too but the characters are quite confusing so which Order is the best to start at the novel, manhua or the anime
I would 100% recommend you to read the novel first. Then catch up to the donghua and read this manhua after that. The novel explains everything to the smallest detail and trust me, those details matter a lot. After that you can do whatever you want :)

Rlly surprised at the fact that there are people suggesting that the anime is better.... Watching the anime is quite confusing by itself so I dropped it almost immediately and only continued it after reading the manhua. Also this manhua has the best art I've ever seen, it's absolutely breathtaking so I definitely recommend reading it. Haven't read the novel tho so I can't give any advice on that

Funny thing is I actually have all the books but they're in Chinese hahahah I do know Chinese but I have to put a lot of effort in reading a novel like that... At the same time I just refuse to read it in English bc I feel like I HAVE to read it in the original language lmaooo

personally I watched the donghua first which helped me to get a basic understanding of the whole concept and characters as an overlook and then I read the book1 und 2(half) which are shown in the dounghua. And with the donghua in my head it was way easier to understand the books or to understand the details so yeah
I‘LL SAY THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN: IF YOU GUYS REALLY WANT TO GET INTO TGCF READ. THE. NOVELS. seriously though, the novels are so incredibly well-written it’s INSANE. it gives you a way better perspective on the plot overall, while you can still enjoy the poetic and breathtaking writing. I’ve never been a big fan of the donghua nor am I a big fan of the manhua. In my opinion, they lack the different emotions of the characters, something that only you alone can imagine in your head while reading the books. Don’t get me wrong, I’m SO grateful that it got diff adaptions, but these are more like extras for me.
