(I'm saying this from a non biased stand point since these characters lowkey tick me off these are just my thoughts so read this without any biased views to kinda understand where I'm coming from.) I think Yahwi said that just to keep Jooin from leaving also when he said "its easy to you to run too someone" or something like that I agree since Jooin has real friends while in Yahwi's case he doesn't have any real friends not to mention we can all assume how their childhoods were completely different, with Jooin having a loving home and Yahwi probably didn't get any love or affection. I don't know how yall can expect Yahwi to change overnight.
