I went through this - being called disgusting by a family member when I came out. It was difficult, but I've never kept it hidden. I was completely open to everyone and anyone since middle school. I guess Doyun and I were out around the same time. It's very young and a really sensitive time in someone's life. I just want to protect him....
I hope that Ban Chan realizes his feelings for Doyun soon and protects him in my stead

For people going on about the rape scene, Yuuma said later that he didn't follow through with it. He stopped before putting it in. So yea it was nasty of him to intend to do that, but he refrained.
Aside from that, this manga felt so rushed and I was confused as to what was happening half the time. It doesn't seem like it's well written. Overall it was a nice read, but nothing I would read again.
I suspect that there were a lot of subtle elements lost in translation. Kuju Siam, one of my favourite mangaka, seems to be showing off the doggy side of humans and the human side of dog-spirits in this story. Yuuma is loyal, territorial and jealous; when Aoi's relationship with Hakumei threatens his brother, he barks wildly (issues threats) and when his own relationship with Hakumei is suddenly cut off, he tries to dominate Aoi by attacking him, but stops when Aoi submits out of physical weakness, like a guard dog. Aoi, himself, is very loving and nurturing. He's like a companion dog. Whereas the Inugashi mistresses, who are supposed to be half-dog, reveal very strong human characteristics: Hakumei's compassion and sacrifice when Aoi is ill, or when he thinks his brother is suffering because of their relationship; Minekuza's ruthless strategy and manipulation when Aoi explains he is afraid of the Inugashi's jealousy.

I've been really disappointed in this manga. I wanted the first story to continue because it was so interesting and unique. But then we kept getting all these mediocre one-shots instead =/
I really loved this story. The art, the characters, the story, the sex...everything was amazing. The only thing I didn't like though was the ending. Even though Enma (Hisa) had a painful past, he definitely found peace knowing that Takimura is the reincarnation of his previous first love. They shared memories together. They built a relationship together. They loved each other. They were adults - not children.
When Hisa was turned into a demon, he retained all of his memories. Wouldn't it have made more sense then, for Takimura to also be turned into a demon and spend eternity with his lover?
Instead, Enma chose to reincarnate, leaving Takimura with similar pain to what Enma experienced as a child. Yea they end up together in the end, but now only one of them has the memories of their relationship. The reincarnated version of Hisa might resemble him and have the same spirit, but he is still a different ego. So Takimura is still essentially starting a new relationship with a mostly new person.
In my opinion, this was an unnecessary and somewhat cruel choice for the author to make.
So in my mind, Takimura and Enma will live together as demons, continuing their relationship from where they left off.
I am relieved to read exactly what I thought. Though Buddha would surely get annoying again or something...
