absolutely amazing, i had a hard time reading this the first few times but after reading this 3 more times, i finally understand the plot. still, it never fails to make my heart race.

law manipulated himself when he was a child as a 'chess piece' for his family but then, he met jesse. he saw jesse as a saviour, a person he could run to. but his feelings were messed up since he has never experienced love or to be loved since he was a child so he wished to controll over jesse. he liked the compliments jesse gave him and hated it when jesse slighlty pushed him away. he wanted to be free from his parents that's why he was glad when they died.
then, comes the part where law forced jesse into using moritat which was shown. he created scenarios to make jesse hate him, pity him, trust him, then love him. he used Jesse's trauma as a trump card to create nightmares for him in moritat. law wanted to know how jesse looks at him, what he thinks of him by trapping jesse in moritat and making some of jesse's belongings his. for example, hemophilia.
law exaggerated some memories and put in a lot of fake ones too.
i might sound like im making jesse the victim here but both of them were victims and culprits to each other and their own pain.

the plot was good but the arrangement of the scenes were hard to interpret. like which comes first? is this inside moritat or is this reality? is this a memory or is it a fake scenario? which one is real amd which is not. its actually amazing tbh since we're in jesse's pov. ofc it would be confusing. this is one of the most realistic perception of situations an mc has ever had throughout every story i've read. the almost realistic confusion between memory, reality and fantasy is absolutely amazing.

its totally normal if you find it confusing because o think that's the point of the story. basically like aot, you can see this anyhow you want

that zhenbei dude is pissing me off. he has the fucking power of a whole military and the brains to win countless wars yet hes so fucking stupid to hurt my precious baby yu'er. why cant he fucking investigate first instead of deluding himself with false accusations and fuck another man, break yu'ers trust and heart? what a fucking asshole. he knew that the emperor couldn't be trusted yet he believed his lies? what the fuck
