Literally the whole reason why their acting like that, that’s why I didn’t really clarify

uhh ok, going to be spoilers so.





First, lets talk about their background, from what I know, ML parents think that ML is a monster and wants him to die but can't kill him, knowing that he can die if there is no guide to help him, they basically hired someone to like cook/nanny after him so they don't look bad to the outside world? idk in any case ML's parents went on 'vacation' which was just them running away from responsibility(taking care of ML). MC mother who is the hired person to look after ML so MC was there in his childhood. Cuz MC don't look at ML like he's a monster and treats him like a normal kid, ML had gotten close with MC.


but then ML when berserk since he can't control his powers and had no guides to ya'know, take care of it, he exploded which killed accidentally MC's mother who protected MC. At that scene, a Healer Esper came who we know in the future is in ML's team healer. Idk the name, he came in to deal with the issue. wanting to clam ML down and save MC, he found out MC has some mix powers that had basically forcefully appeared because of ML's out burst. ML then somehow erase that healer's memory of MC. ML gets taken away and MC has lost memories of being with ML I think? I am not sure about that part. MC lost his mother and his father now hates espers and guides.

fast forward to the present. MC is now a normal worker who gets save from ML in first ch. ML seems to have plan everything from the beginning since it is obvious he had then stalking MC to now. Their relationship processed with MC slowly falling in love with ML who is obsessed with him. ML is kinda chained to the Organization who seems to have something against ML to stop him from doing what ever he wants and try to ship him with their leader's daughter who manifested as a guide. ML went with it and was monitored for a while, MC who saw ML with the woman and thought he was like cheated? cuz he knows Espers need guide to keep them alive, conflicted he felt betrayed since ML said he was serious about this relationship. it was common knowledge that esper and civilian relationship is uncommon and doesn't last long since they need guide to keep them from going berserk and die. He really was in love with ML, so he was depressed.

We also know ML compatibility with other guide is really low so, we seen him going through many guides cuz the Organization want him to link with the woman(that has low compatibility with him). I won't know why clearly that he' go though that, maybe it was like a thing that they have every once in a while to keep ML in his top state? Also, it's a known fact that if they have low compatibility, it hurts both of them. So that was basically torture.


Anyway, ML rebelled and basically cause a water apocalypse with the rain/weather, flooding everywhere except MC's place. I didn't care about it that much, it was basic a test ML but himself into, where he was going into berserk state and called MC to see if he would come to save him in the dangerous weather. Basically a Test of love, a gamble he's taking since he will die if no one guide him.

MC found out he was a guide, ML know he isn't a normal guide since his manifested was forced? so he hide things from MC, MC who is confused on what is ML planing since He don't want the guide teacher he found to teach MC how to guide, and only teach other things he should know but not how to guide esper. But ML also want MC to register as a guide?(idk, it's in the dialogue) Which confused the hell of MC who, don't know the reason why ML is doing all that. He wants to know but also knows ML won't just tell him so MC ask other esper he knows(?). then the yellow hair female(s-rank) esper called ML to tell MC the truth. ML did, which revealed that MC can't do normal guiding like other guide. with him saying MC don't need to learn it since ML does reverse guiding which other guides find scary and is dangerous(something like that).

then we get flash backs on how MC manifested or turn into a weird guide. And knows that ML was then one who made MC like this and is the one who had killed MC's mother. that's All I got I think? I skipped some minor things but if like, you want more info, just be more specific cuz I don't want to write all those minor things and explain it.


side note; I don't think the government or any authorities know ML existing cuz we know how they act, like would have likely had taken ML away into a lab for experiments or something. And would have unlikely even be able to kill ML by having him have no guiding since most authority would take advantage of ML and have him live as long as possible.

another theory is that Esper and guide wasn't a common knowledge but ML's parents know that ML would die without guiding so that's cross out. Maybe there wasn't any high ranking esper as strong as ML then? Maybe they only had low ranking espers for a while until ML appeared with an S-rank power that had a very strong pressure that even made his parents scared of him and wanting to get rid of him.
