In all honestly I wanted the mc to leave from the beginning to start his own life but now that he’s done it, it’s so bitter sweet I don’t know how to feel. Not only that but the way he left the ml hurts and if it was in the mls perspective I would have disliked the mc so much. I mean genuinely think about all the shit they’ve been through together, how patient he’s been and how he’s reacted so far, promising that he will be a constant thing in the mc’s life and not only that but genuinely wanting to know everything about him and protecting him throughout. Yet at the drop of a hat he left as fast as he came. A real attachment to a guy you picked up the streets and a guy you felt so much feelings for left you alone. I’m feeling like shit just writing this. BUTTT the mc also needs to live his life without having someone caterer for him, he will never feel a close in the huge gap they have and it will be a constant insecurity in their relationship. Or he wouldn’t get away from that strong fear that the abused becomes the abuser. Plus he just need different environments to grow and find himself (also taking in consideration with how much the ml impacts his thinking and overall judgment, not saying that’s a bad thing but he needs to be his own person with his own thoughts and feelings). They’re probably better ways on fixing that problem and a lot of other problems they have but this is how he saw a way to become better and I can’t dislike him for that. Although I am worried about the angst that is going to come with them reuniting whether that be soon for far away.
